Troubleshooting the webcast using Windows and Internet Explorer

When you click on a link to listen to the webcast, this window should open:

If you already have iTunes or Windows Media Player installed, click on the link that says Choose a different player. A new window will open, asking which player to use:

Select your connection speed and choose Windows Media Player or other (for iTunes, etc.).

Press Continue.

If you chose Windows Media Player, the webcast should begin automatically and will look like this:

If you will use iTunes, select other MP3 Player and press continue. Then select iTunes (you must have it installed first).

If you want to install Player365, let's look at that first window again:

Click the green button to download Player365. That's all you have to do.

Yet, you might get a window that looks like this:

...in which case, it won't install. The most likely explanation is that you have the window pop-up blocker enabled in your browser. In Internet Explorer, this is noted by the icon at the bottom of the window of an eye with a red circle containing a white dash. You'll need to allow cookies and files from live365.com to be accepted.

Go to your toolbar and double-click on that "eye" icon.

You'll get a window line this:

Right-click over the sites containing http://www.live365.com and select the first option from the pop-up menu, Always accept cookies from this site. Next, click on Settings to get to the next window:

...and click on the Settings button. Click Close.

Now try installing the Player365 again. It should work this time.

In the next window, go to the field labeled Address of Web site to allow, type in http://www.live365.com and click the Add button. Click the Close button.

Back in the Internet Properties window, click Apply, then OK.

Back in the privacy report window, click apply and OK. Try downloading Player365 again now. If it doesn't work, you'll have to install iTunes.
