This song was written as a companion piece to the one-act radio play It Came from the Bottom of Your Boat, about the unnecessary poisoning of Lake Pend d'Oreille in northern Idaho in 2006.

It hitched a ride on the trailer you use to tow
a stowaway from Pend Oreille to Lake Lowell
it breeds and multiplies and plans to take over
it came from a lake in Eurasia
It traps its victims with its many tentacles
It can pull boats under with its force field
and no matter how loud you scream, you'll never get away
