Great new programs are ushering in our fall schedule!!! We've been getting lots of program proposals lately and we're happy to say the first shows to come from this are starting to hit the schedule. Here's a run down of a bunch of cool new offerings. Get ready for a completely re-tooled fall schedule by October. Let us know what you think!
1) Early Warning Radar hosted by DJ Jackson; Monday 5-6pm, Saturday 11am-noon; fresh underground sounds, including indie rock, hip hop & more
2) Hard Math hosted by Jason Sievers; Tuesday 9-11am, Thursday 1-3pm; independent rock and punk all from Boise's rich musical history
3) Homegrown hosted by Lonnie Caldwell; Tuesday 3-4pm, Saturday noon-1pm; americana, rock, blues and folk focused on songwriting and the Boise scene
4) Touch the Sky hosted by Radioactive Gavin; Wednesday 9-11am, Sunday 10am-noon; old school dub, classic ska, psych folk, lush electronics and global sounds
5) Amalgamated Coup hosted by Kathy and Stephanie; Wednesday 1-3pm, Sunday 2-4pm; folk, country, electronic, rock, metal and more for disenfranchised music geeks

FCC Urged to Probe Pentagon Propaganda Program -
Lawmakers are urging the Federal Communications Commissions to investigate the Pentagon's propaganda program to determine if the major TV networks or the Pentagon-backed analysts violated federal law.

Boise Community Radio is thrilled to announce that we have been issued a
"construction permit" from the FCC, authorizing us to broadcast at 89.9 FM. We are proud to have been among the first 10% of applicants to have permits granted from the 3500 requests filed in October for new, noncommercial radio station licenses.
